Where Else You Can Bring Goods as Charitable Items
Check this list for some great organizations who may be able to use your donations. Contact the organizations directly and ask what items are accepted as it varies due to the organization's inventory and storage space.

TVs/Computer Monitors
Effective July 1, 2006 electronic products containing a cathode ray tube (CRT), such as TVs and computer monitors, may not be placed in the garbage. Learn more about what to do with your items at www.hennepinatoz.org/azguide/item/electronics.html.

Shoes
Soles4Souls
While the PROP Shop happily accepts your in-season gently used foot wear, Soles4Souls facilitates the donations of all shoes, which are used to aid the hurting worldwide. Shoe companies, retailers, and individuals can donate footwear (both new and used). Soles4Souls is a 501(c)(3) recognized by the IRS, and donating parties are eligible for tax advantages. Click on the "donation sites" button to find a drop off location near you.

Nike
Turn beat up sneakers into basketball courts, running tracks or other sports surfaces by sending them to Nike's ReUse a Shoe program. They accept athletic shoes only (any brand), but no shoes containing metal, no cleats or dress shoes and no wet or damp shoes.
There are no MN drop off locations but you can send any number of shoes to:
