Happy One Year Anniversary!
Yes, it's true! The PROP Shop is one year old on April 11. Since that time, we've given 1066 bags of clothing and $17,000 of furniture and household goods to 181 client families! And 237 volunteers have helped. Thanks to everyone who has made this possible! Stop in the week of April 8 and celebrate with us!
Suburban Waste Service Giving Back to the Community - and to The PROP Shop!Eden Prairie's new garbage company is going above and beyond for the PROP Shop. Not only are they picking up the shop's recycling for free, they are extending a terrific offer to our customers.
If you sign up with SWS, they will donate $25 to the PROP Shop. Not only that, you get a lower rate on your garbage service and two months free!
Benefits to using SWS go beyond your wallet, however. Suburban Waste Service does not landfill any of the garbage, instead it is processed into energy at the Hennepin County Resource Recovery Plant. All of the revenue received from processing recyclables is donated back into Eden Prairie for environmental improvement projects. Finally, they support local EP organizations through fundraisers and donations.
